Who is the Special Needs Ministry program intended for?
Any child of any age with developmental or medical disabilities is appropriate for this program. The GOAL Ministry is primarily provided so that parents/guardians may attend service and feel their children are being well cared for.
What is our mission?
God’s Outstretched Arms (of) Love purpose is to break down barriers that keep children with disabilities, of all ages, and their families from being able to participate in the community of the church. We want families to know they are welcome in our church family. We understand that in some circumstances, parents/guardians may not feel comfortable leaving their child(ren) in the traditional nursery setting. This is the purpose God has called us to start the GOAL Ministry. We want to help parents/guardians to be able to attend church services knowing their child is being cared for by people who have open hearts to each child’s needs.
